Mrs Emery is an incontinent elderly woman, who often uncontrollably urinates in public.
She seems unaware of this problem, as seen in the sixth episode of the third season visiting the Doctor, because of her swollen knee, she begins to urinate in the doctor's office, she was asked if it was troubling her, but she was completely clueless. She would often mistake her pool of urine on the floor as the result of a leak in the roof or that someone had spilled something and would often start walking through it. She was also oblivious to the obvious horror of those witnessing her urinate.
Mrs Emery appeared on Little Britain live where she is seen to be urinating at a farmers market.
Both David Walliams and Matt Lucas agreed in the season three commentary that Mrs Emery was "just a little bit too far" in that people found the effect of water bucketing out from in-between her legs just disgusting. David Walliams also stated that he "didn't find very funny" in the season 3 commentary.
